The social achievements train of the National Lottery of Côte d'Ivoire made two significant stops in Dimbokro, specifically in the villages of Kangrassou-Aluibo and Abigui.
In the first mentioned village, the donation from the Lonaci Foundation consisted of the construction of an improved village water supply system, thereby resolving the pressing issue of drinking water in the village. In the second village, the urban health center was completely rehabilitated with the construction of latrines and an incinerator.
In Kangrassou-Aluibo, the works, with a total cost of 33.2 million CFA francs, allowed for the rehabilitation of the water tower and the old borehole, which could no longer meet the drinking water needs of the population. This old system was reinforced by the creation of a new borehole. All these infrastructures were fenced and secured.
To improve the learning conditions of the children in the village, five pumps were installed in the primary school.
It is also worth noting that young people from the village were trained to provide first-level maintenance for the hydraulic system. This was done with the aim of empowering the village and ensuring a constant supply of drinking water.
The inauguration ceremony of these infrastructures was graced by the presence of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Adama Coulibaly, along with the Mayor of Dimbokro, Bilé Diéméléou, and Deputy Yao Séraphin.
